In-game Commands

Type these commands in the in-game chat window. Commands are case-insensitive.

How to use: Open the chat with Enter, type a command and press Enter again to send. Commands starting with / are processed by the server and do not appear in chat.

Note: Commands marked REM are specific to Remnant Freelancer. Generic FLHook commands may differ slightly from other servers.

General Commands

PvP Commands

_abortCancels a ranked PvP match (only within 10 seconds of start)
/bounty <name> <amount>/bounty$ <id> <amount>Places a credit bounty on another player
/bountymeShows the bounty on your own head
/bountylistShows the top bounties currently active
PvP zones: REM has designated PvP zones where combat is unrestricted. Outside these zones, attacking other players without consent may be against the server rules. Use /rem rules to read the current ruleset.

Trade & Economy

/autobuy <type>Configures auto-purchase of ammo. Types: all, mines, missiles, torps, cm, cd, reload

Chat Commands

/mute syschat <on|off>Toggles the system-wide chat channel on or off
/set chatfontChanges the font used in chat messages

Settings

/set diemsg <small|system|self|none>Controls how kill/death messages are displayed
/set diemsgsize <small|default>Sets the size of death notification messages
/set funsounds <on|off>Enables or disables fun sounds on certain events
/voteStarts a cheat-vote against the player you have targeted
/vote kickInitiates a kick-vote against a player with a very bad connection

REM-Specific Commands REM

These commands are unique to the Remnant Freelancer server and may not exist on other Freelancer servers.

/rem mineActivates mining mode – targets the nearest minable asteroid
/rem resourcesShows resources currently in your cargo hold
/rem craft <blueprint>Crafts an item from a known blueprint
/rem blueprintsLists all your unlocked crafting blueprints
/rem charOpens the character sheet (stats, reputation, level)
/rem factionShows your current faction memberships and reputation levels
/rem race joinRegisters for the next scheduled race event
/rem race leaveLeaves the current race queue
/rem eventShows currently active server events
/rem versionShows the current REM server version
/rem enForces the server interface language to English
Not all commands are available to all players. Some commands require minimum reputation, faction membership or staff permissions. If a command returns "Access denied", check the server rules or ask in Discord.
